Why should I learn The History of Mathematics ?

                 Nowdays, almost people do not care about history, and they only care with their futures. Although, history is very important and without that we cannot life like this. History brings us from not a good condition to better condition, history brings us from old era to modern era. History is also for reflection in our future life. We can take many good aspects in the past to be applied in our daily life and be developed to be better.

                A an educator especially as a mathematician we should know, where our subject come from. Because, with mastering the history of mathematics we not only get many good aspects for ourself but also it can increase our spirit to learn mathematics. With mastering the history of mathematics we can also think ”why can people in old era and with unperfect technologies discover many worthy properties about mathematics?” .
                In general, mathematics is always connected with symbols, numbers, equations, and etc. So, there are many people very hate with mathematics because mathematics is difficult and bored. Therefore, as a teacher candidate we should change many bad assumptions about mathematics. For example, before we start a material about mathematics, we tell the student about the story of that material in order they  are not bored and make them be more spirit to learn about our material in mathematics.
